Concession:

Each team is responsible for having a parent working in the concession during ice times. (Exception – Ice Box and Sport Mart Place)

Kamloops Minor Hockey runs concessions in each of the City arenas (except SMP). The Officers of KMHA oversee the operations of the concessions. We have a Purchasing Agent who buys all products for the arenas. Each arena has an Arena Manager who communicates with the Purchasing Agent about stock and Rink Supervisors.

The concessions are leased from the City of Kamloops, by way of a percentage of our sales. We make our profits from the concessions being open by parents, like yourself while your child is on the ice.

Directors are to make sure that teams have (2) people working in concession at all games, including tournaments, and as many practice times as possible. This would go a long way in alleviating possible theft of money and missing product. Having (2) persons in the concession at all times is a protection for us all.
